A few suggestions for expediting your FBI CRC

We are always looking for ways to expedite the process of ordering an FBI CRC and for those applicants who are willing to try something different; here are a couple of suggestions.

                                                            1.     You can try calling your local Congress representative and see if they can help you to request an expedited process for the FBI CRC. This has worked for some applicants so far and has helped them to obtain the CRC in 1 or 2 weeks.

                                                            2.     If you have any other connections in the government sector through friends and family, do use them to your advantage. If anyone can make a call on your behalf to the FBI, it might help.

                                                            3.    You can check with your State Police or Department of Public Safety to see if they can include a search of the FBI Database on their CRC. If it clearly states that the FBI Database/National Database has been searched, you might get away with a State issued CRC. (*Please double check with us before you chose this option)

These methods might not work for some of you, but they are worth a try, especially if you do not wish to sit and wait for 8-12 weeks for the FBI request to come back. Taking the initiative will also show us that you are working hard to get your documents together and we will work equally hard to help you find an excellent placement.

If you have any questions in regards to these suggestions, please don’t hesitate to let your Teacher Representative know.

                                                            Good luck!
